Aims: The Tpeak-Tend interval on electrocardiogram may be a predictor of worse outcomes in Takotsubo syndrome (TTS), but the mechanisms have not been fully determined. This study aimed to investigate the relationships between the corrected Tpeak-Tend (cTp-e) interval and coronary microvascular-dysfunction (CMD) assessed by the angiography-derived index of microvascular resistance (Angio-IMR) and the in-hospital prognosis in patients with TTS.
Methods And Results: We retrospectively evaluated 111 consecutive patients admitted for TTS who underwent coronary angiography at Kindai University Hospital from October 2009 to July 2023.

By modifying the grain boundary morphology from straight to serration, the hot ductility drop issue has been resolved successfully. The serrated grain boundary could be achieved by reducing the cooling rate of solution heat treatment, which allowed the coarsening of L1 structured γ' precipitates to interfere with mobile grain boundaries, resulting in undulation of the grain boundary morphology.

Methods: Active CS, diagnosed by PET alone, was defined as focal or focal on diffuse FDG uptake pattern. In fusion PET/CMR imaging, using a regional analysis with AHA 17-segment model, the patients were categorized into four groups: (1) PET-/LGE-, (2) PET+/LGE-, (3) PET+/LGE+, and (4) PET-/LGE+.
The instantaneous wave-free ratio (iFR) is used for assessing the hemodynamic severity of a lesion, as an alternative to the fractional flow reserve (FFR). We evaluated the relationship between iFR and FFR in detail and the clinical significance of iFR in patients with mild to intermediate coronary artery stenosis. We recruited consecutive 323 patients (421 lesions) with lesions exhibiting 30% to 80% diameter stenosis on angiography in whom FFR and iFR were measured.

By phase transformation pathway through metastability, HESA possesses a hierarchical microstructure containing a dispersion of nano size disordered FCC particles inside ordered L1 precipitates that are within the FCC matrix. The average tensile yield strength of HESA from room temperature to 1,023 K could be 120 MPa higher than that of advanced single crystal superalloy, while HESA could still exhibit an elongation greater than 20%.

This article presents the high temperature tensile and creep behaviors of a novel high entropy alloy (HEA). The microstructure of this HEA resembles that of advanced superalloys with a high entropy FCC matrix and L1 ordered precipitates, so it is also named as "high entropy superalloy (HESA)". The tensile yield strengths of HESA surpass those of the reported HEAs from room temperature to elevated temperatures; furthermore, its creep resistance at 982 °C can be compared to those of some Ni-based superalloys.

To discover novel molecules expressed on hESCs, we generated a panel of monoclonal antibodies against undifferentiated hESCs and evaluated their ability to mark cancer cells, as well as hESCs. MAb7 recognized undifferentiated hESCs and showed a diffuse band with molecular mass of >239 kDa in the lysates of hESCs.
