The previous study has pointed to that endogenous CYP metabolites play an important role in the pathogenesis of coronary heart disease (CHD). The study aimed to identify the association of CYP19A1, CYP1A1, and CYP1A2 polymorphisms with CHD susceptibility in a Chinese Han population. A total of 960 genetically unrelated participants consist of 480 CHD patients and 480 healthy controls were enrolled.

To explore the relevant influencing factors of neonatal respiratory distress syndrome (NRDS) in southern China and provide scientific basis for improving the quality of life for neonates. A retrospective analysis of 320 cases with NRDS neonates admitted from January 2015 to December 2017 in a neonatal department of a Maternal and Child Health Hospital in South China was conducted. Three hundred twenty non-NRDS patients admitted to the same hospital during the same period were also included as control.

Hypoxic-ischemic brain damage (HIBD) is a major cause of neonatal acute deaths and chronic nervous system damage. Our present study was designed to investigate the possible neuroprotective effect of digoxin-induced pharmacological preconditioning after hypoxia-ischemia and underlying mechanisms. Neonatal rats were assigned randomly to control, HIBD, or HIBD+digoxin groups.
