Clinical efficacy of Osteoking in knee osteoarthritis therapy: a prospective, multicenter, non-randomized controlled study in China.

Background: Osteoking has been extensively used for the treatment of knee osteoarthritis (KOA). However, it is lack of high-quality evidence on the clinical efficacy of Osteoking against KOA and the comparison with that of nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs).

Aims: To evaluate the efficacy and safety of Osteoking in treating KOA.

Development of an artificial intelligent model for pre-endoscopic screening of precancerous lesions in gastric cancer.

Background: Given the high cost of endoscopy in gastric cancer (GC) screening, there is an urgent need to explore cost-effective methods for the large-scale prediction of precancerous lesions of gastric cancer (PLGC). We aim to construct a hierarchical artificial intelligence-based multimodal non-invasive method for pre-endoscopic risk screening, to provide tailored recommendations for endoscopy.

Methods: From December 2022 to December 2023, a large-scale screening study was conducted in Fujian, China.

Topical Chinese patent medicines for chronic musculoskeletal pain: systematic review and trial sequential analysis.

Purpose: Chronic musculoskeletal pain (CMP) is defined as persistent or recurrent pain that occurs in the joints, musculo-soft tissue, spine or bones for more than three months and is not completely curable. Although topical Chinese patent medicine (CPM) is the most extensively utilized medication in Asia and is widely used for pain management, its efficacy remains controversial. This article presents a systematic review of clinical studies on the therapeutic properties of topical CPM for CMP patients to better inform clinical decision-making and provide additional and safer treatment options for patients with CMP.

Development of an MRI-Based Comprehensive Model Fusing Clinical, Radiomics and Deep Learning Models for Preoperative Histological Stratification in Intracranial Solitary Fibrous Tumor.

Background: Accurate preoperative histological stratification (HS) of intracranial solitary fibrous tumors (ISFTs) can help predict patient outcomes and develop personalized treatment plans. However, the role of a comprehensive model based on clinical, radiomics and deep learning (CRDL) features in preoperative HS of ISFT remains unclear.

Purpose: To investigate the feasibility of a CRDL model based on magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) in preoperative HS in ISFT.

Chinese patent medicine for osteoporosis: a systematic review and meta-analysis.

Chinese patent medicine (CPM) has been widely used in China for patients with osteoporosis (OP) but a comprehensive literature review is still important. Therefore, we performed meta-analysis using six electronic databases prior to 30 April 2021 only randomized controlled trials (RCTs) using CPM as the first-line treatment in adults with OP were included. Thirty RCTs met the inclusion criteria with a total of 2723 patients, and seven types of CPM were included.

No significant association between immunosuppression in solid organ transplantation and prostate cancer risk: a meta-analysis of cohort studies.

Background: It is known that organ transplant recipients have a significantly higher risk for developing cancers, but the association between immunosuppression in organ transplantation and the risk for prostate cancer (PCa) remains unclear. We aimed to assess the evidence regarding the association of solid organ transplantation with PCa risk.

Methods: A literature search of the PubMed, Embase, and Web of Science databases was performed up to March 2019.

[Three-dimensional versus two-dimensional imaging systems in laparoscopic radical prostatectomy for prostate cancer: a retrospective cohort study].

Objective: To compare the perioperative, functional and oncologic outcomes of patients with prostate cancer receiving laparoscopic radical prostatectomy (LRP) using three-dimensional (3D) versus two-dimensional (2D) imaging systems.

Methods: From February, 2014 to January 2016, 72 consecutive patients with clinically localized prostate cancer underwent LRP with 2D or 3D imaging systems performed by a single experienced surgeon. The baseline characteristics, perioperative data, and functional and oncologic outcomes of the patients were collected and analyzed.

Prognostic value of cytoreductive nephrectomy combined with targeted therapy for metastatic renal cell carcinoma: a meta-analysis.

Purpose: The role of cytoreductive nephrectomy (CN) has been controversial with the advent of targeted therapy. Our study was to identify the prognostic value of CN combined with targeted therapy for treatment of metastatic renal cell carcinoma (mRCC) by conducting a meta-analysis based on the existing population-based studies.

Methods: Research articles published up to September 2015 were searched through PubMed and Embase.
