Microcystis aeruginosa is the main toxic strain in cyanobacterial blooms, and the recruitment stage in its temperature-dependent seasonal succession is considered as the key to its subsequent growth. In this study, a protocol with specific temperature settings was developed as the simulated recruitment stage in order to investigate and confirm the superior inhibitory effects of allelochemicals on M. aeruginosa at that stage of recruitment.

Methods: Literature retrieval was performed by systematically searching Embase, PubMed and Web of Science to identify relevant articles published from the inception of each database to November 2020.
A 53-year-old man was admitted to our hospital with a history of a right lung nodule which had gradually increased in size. Wedge resection of the right middle lobe using video-assisted thoracoscopic surgery (VATS) was performed and revealed a yellowish, soft, well circumscribed nodule.
