Advancements in assisted driving technologies are expected to enable future passengers to use a wide range of multimedia applications in electric vehicles (EVs). To address the bandwidth demands for high-resolution and immersive videos during peak traffic, this study introduces a bandwidth-management algorithm to support differentiated streaming services in heterogeneous vehicle-to-everything (V2X) networks. By leveraging cellular 6G base stations, along with Cell-Free (CF) Massive Multi-Input Multi-Output (mMIMO) Wi-Fi 7 access points, the algorithm aims to provide a high-coverage, high-speed, and low-interference V2X network environment.

It is expected that interconnected networks of autonomous vehicles, especially during peak traffic, will face congestion challenges. Moreover, the existing literature lacks discussions on integrating next-generation wireless communication technologies into connected vehicular networks. Hence, this paper introduces a tailored bandwidth management algorithm for streaming applications of autonomous vehicle passengers.

The popularity of video services such as video call or video on-demand has made it impossible for people to live without them in their daily lives. It can be anticipated that the explosive growth of vehicular communication owing to the widespread use of in-vehicle video infotainment applications in the future will result in increasing fragmentation and congestion of the wireless transmission spectrum. Accordingly, effective bandwidth management algorithms are demanded to achieve efficient communication and stable scalability in next-generation vehicular networks.

In addition to traditional battery exchange services and stationary charging stations, researchers have proposed wireless charging technology, such as decentralized laser charging or drone-to-drone charging in flight, to provide power to drones with insufficient battery electricity. However, the charging methods presented in the literature will inevitably cause drones to wait in line for charging during peak hours and disrupt their scheduled trips when the number of drones grows rapidly in the future. To the best of our knowledge, there have been no integrated solutions for drone flight path and charging planning to alleviate charging congestion, taking into account the different mission characteristics of drones and the charging cost considerations of drone operators.

N6-methyladenosine (m6A) plays a key role in many biological processes. However, the function and evolutionary relationship of m6A-related genes in insects remain largely unknown. Here we analysed the phylogeny of m6A-related genes among 207 insect species and found that m6A-related genes are evolutionarily conserved in insects.

An efficient and environmentally friendly synthetic approach to prepare thiazolidine-2-imine and oxazolidine-2-one derivatives has been developed. Thiazolidine-2-imines are synthesized in good to excellent yields by [3 + 2] annulation of -quinamines with isothiocyanates under catalyst- and solvent-free conditions. Oxazolidine-2-ones are produced in good to excellent yields via [3 + 2] annulation of -quinamines with CO using triethylenediamine (DABCO) as an organocatalyst.

Although anti-thrombotic therapy has been successful for prevention of deaths from acute myocardial infarction (MI), by far, there are few preventive and therapeutic options for ischemic heart failure (IHF) after MI. Qi-Tai-Suan (QTS) is an oleanolic acid (OA) derivative which once underwent a clinical trial for treating hepatitis. In this study, we investigated the potential cardioprotective effect of QTS on IHF.

Background: Accumulating studies indicated that dysregulated long non-coding RNA human histocompatibility leukocyte antigen (HLA) Complex P5 (HCP5) may functions as an potential prognostic predictor in multiple cancers. This meta-analysis was performed to systematically collect studies and conduct an evidence-based evaluation of the prognostic role of HCP5 in malignancies.

Methods: Four databases (PubMed, Web of Science, Embase and Cochrane library) were comprehensively retrieved from their initiation date to November 9, 2021.

The development of enantioselective desymmetrization of -quinamines with isocyanates catalyzed by chiral phosphoric acid is reported. The strategy provides concise access to functionalized imidazolidin-2-one derivatives in high yields and enantioselectivities under mild reaction conditions. Remarkably, this reaction could be performed on a gram scale using 5 mol % catalyst loading and the chiral imidazolidin-2-one derivatives could be easily transformed into valuable scaffolds without disturbing the enantiopurity, demonstrating the synthetic utility of this protocol.

Background: Brugada syndrome is a major cause of sudden cardiac death in young people and has distinctive electrocardiographic (ECG) features. We aimed to develop a deep learning-enabled ECG model for automatic screening for Brugada syndrome to identify these patients at an early point in time, thus allowing for life-saving therapy.

Methods: A total of 276 ECGs with a type 1 Brugada ECG pattern (276 type 1 Brugada ECGs and another randomly retrieved 276 non-Brugada type ECGs for 1:1 allocation) were extracted from the hospital-based ECG database for a 2-stage analysis with a deep learning model.

Introduction: Whole brain radiotherapy (WBRT) has been the mainstay treatment of brain metastases (BM) in non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) patients for years. Temozolomide (TMZ) could penetrate the blood-brain barrier and some studies showed that TMZ plus MBRT may improve clinical effectiveness. This meta-analysis is aim to evaluate the clinical effectiveness and safety of TMZ plus MBRT in the NSCLC patients with BM.

Objective: To observe the clinical effect of the combined therapy using argon-helium cryosurgery (Ar-He knife) and Chinese herbal medicine in treating non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC).

Methods: Fifty-seven patients of NSCLC were treated with the combined therapy and observed.

Results: The treatment was successfully completed in all patients with mild adverse reactions.

Objective: To analyze the relationship between traditional Chinese medical syndromes and fungal pneumonia for moderate and advanced lung cancer patients.

Methods: We retrospected 115 moderate and advanced lung cancer patients with different syndromes in traditional Chinese medicine (qi deficiency, yin deficiency, blood deficiency, yang deficiency, blood stasis, phlegm dampness, phlegm heat, damp heat, cold dampness, qi stagnation, heat toxin), who had the concurrent fungal pneumonia, and used regression analysis method to analyze the data.

Results: When the patients had the phlegm heat syndrome, they got a significantly higher risk of having fungal pneumonia (P < 0.
