The paper gives data on the fauna of chigger mites (Thrombiculinae), the ectoparasites of small mammals in Mongolia. The ecological and geographic analysis could reveal the major abiotic and biotic determinants of the spread of the chigger mites and make a map of their potential area.

The strains were isolated from several wild bird species. Investigation of biological features of those strains demonstrated their high pathogenicity for mammals.

Results of inspection 451 persons in the age of from 19 till 58 years and 2 children in the age of till 2 years on presence of specific antibodies and RNA of the infuenza virus A (H5N1) are submitted. RNA of infuenza virus A (H5N1) in researched samples is not revealed. Specific antibodies to a infuenza virus A (H5N1) in a blood serum of 211 patients and donors it is not revealed.

Oral prophylactic administration of ULD anti-IFN-gamma significantly lowered the influenza virus concentration in the animal lungs at the initial stage of the aerogenous infection: in 2 (p = 0.05) and 3 (p = 0.

Immediately after general anesthesia and surgical correction of septal defects using cardiopulmonary bypass adrenalin level was increased, while noradrenaline, cAMP, cGMP, prostaglandin E + A levels remained high. Similar pattern was observed in patients after arterial duct ligation.

Before surgical treatment the patients showed higher (than in the control) concentrations of histamine, adrenalin, noradrenaline, cAMP, and cGMP, prostaglandins E+A. During anesthesia including fentanyl, morphine, diazepam, N2O:O2 in patients with heart valve defects cGMP level was increased and in patients with patent ductus arteriosus cAMP level was increased during analogous anesthesia with morphine replaced by halothane.

The observation of 74 patients has shown that infusions of 1% solution of phosphobion (0.05 mg/kg/min) in the pulmonary artery decrease the pressure in the pulmonary artery, pulmonary-vascular resistance, make the incidence of disturbed heart rate less frequent, reduce the concentration of noradrenaline and prostaglandins.

Irrespective of the magnitude of arteriovenous ID, pulmonary tissue deactivation of NA is shown to be disrupted. Where ID averages 7.
