A search for collective effects inside jets produced in proton-proton collisions is performed via correlation measurements of charged particles using the CMS detector at the CERN LHC. The analysis uses data collected at a center-of-mass energy of sqrt[s]=13 TeV, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 138 fb^{-1}. Jets are reconstructed with the anti-k_{T} algorithm with a distance parameter of 0.

Methods: A free-breathing 3D cardiac ECV mapping method was developed at 3 T. T mapping was performed before and after contrast agent injection using a free-breathing electrocardiogram-gated inversion recovery sequence with spoiled gradient echo readout.

Regardless of classification, most newly diagnosed patients receive the same treatment, radiation and temozolomide (RT/TMZ). We developed a functional precision oncology test that prospectively identifies individual patient's response to this treatment regimen.

This requires continuously assessing the locations of randomly distributed organisms to collect and transfer them to target spaces without harm. Here, an aspiration-assisted adaptive printing system is developed that tracks, harvests, and relocates living and moving organisms on target spaces via a pick-and-place mechanism that continuously adapts to updated visual and spatial information about the organisms and target spaces.

Activation of the AKT/mTOR (RAC-α serine/threonine-protein kinase/mammalian target of rapamycin) pathway is implicated as a potential pathophysiologic mechanism. The aim of this study was to assess whether pharmacological inhibition of mTOR signaling has beneficial effects on heart function and prolongs survival in a mouse model of the disease, after onset of heart failure.

We assessed the contemporary association of marginalization with clinical outcomes and health services use.
Methods: Using clinical and administrative databases in Ontario, Canada, we conducted a population-based study of patients aged ≥65 years hospitalized for their first acute myocardial infarction between April 1, 2010 and March 1, 2019.

Prostate cancer is the most prevalent cancer in men worldwide and is promoted by the sex hormone androgen. Expression of androgen from the testis can be significantly reduced through castration. However, as most prostate cancer patients acquire castration resistance, additional therapeutic solutions are necessary.

Protein mining efforts generally rely on amino acid sequences rather than protein structures. We describe here the use of AlphaFold2 to predict and subsequently cluster an entire protein family based on predicted structure similarities.

In this study, we examined the impact of brain age, a measure of neurobiological aging derived from whole-brain structural neuroimaging, on poststroke outcomes, with a focus on sensorimotor performance.

Materials And Methods: The animal model of cryptococcal brain granuloma was established by injecting 1 × 10 CFU/ml of type A suspension into the caudate nucleus of Sprague-Dawley rats with stereotactic technology. The infection in the brain was observed by conventional MRI scanning on days 14, 21, and 28 of modeling.
Taiwania cryptomerioides Hayata is an endangered relict plant belonging to Taxodiaceae, and it is also an endemic plant to China. The decay-resistant of Taiwania timber can provide highly quality wood for building and furniture. Plenty of regenerative of leaves of T.

Recent studies showed that most of the traditionally defined genera in are highly polyphyletic. Many of these morphology-based genera, such as , and , have been redefined using multigene phylogenetic analysis combined with morphology; however, a comprehensive taxonomic overview of the family is lacking.

For DCMRI, the CS-MRI usually exploits image signal sparsity and low-rank property to reconstruct dynamic images from the undersampled k-space data. In this paper, a novel CS algorithm is investigated to improve dynamic cardiac MR image reconstruction quality under the condition of minimizing the k-space recording.

Current nucleos(t)ide therapies for CHB prevent virus production and spread but have no direct impact on cccDNA or expression of viral genes. We describe a potential curative approach using a highly specific engineered ARCUS nuclease (ARCUS-POL) targeting the hepatitis B virus (HBV) genome.

The interplay among collective electronic states like superconductivity (SC) and charge density wave (CDW) is of significance in transition metal dichalcogenides. To date, a consensus on the relationship between SC and CDW has not been established in IrTe. Here we use the Au-assisted exfoliation method to cleave IrTe down to 10 nm.

Methods: A free-breathing, electrocardiogram-gated inversion-recovery sequence with spoiled gradient-echo readout was developed and optimized for cardiac T mapping at 3 T. High-frame-rate dynamic images were reconstructed from sparse (k,t)-space data acquired along a stack-of-stars trajectory using a subspace-based method for accelerated imaging.
Iron chalcogenides are of particular interests among iron-based superconductors due to their distinct properties such as high-on FeSe monolayer and competing magnetic correlations in FeTe. Here we report unusual transport properties observed near the critical composition of FeTe (∼ 0.09) where competing magnetic correlations exist.

Although 5-fluorouracil (5FU) is the first-line choice of anticancer therapy for gastric cancer, its effectiveness is limited owing to drug resistance. Recently, altered cancer metabolism, including the Warburg effect, a preference for glycolysis rather than oxidative phosphorylation for energy production, has been accepted as a pivotal mechanism regulating resistance to chemotherapy.
