Applying cationic waterborne polyurethane (CWPU) in the leather color-fixing process can improve the dyeing rate and enhance color fastness. However, under prolonged exposure to sunlight, CWPU will age and degrade and the leather will fade in color, become stiff and crack easily. Based on (10087±44)×10^{6}  J/ψ events collected with the BESIII detector, a partial wave analysis of the decay J/ψ→γK_{S}^{0}K_{S}^{0}η^{'} is performed. The mass and width of the X(2370) are measured to be 2395±11(stat)_{-94}^{+26}(syst)  MeV/c^{2} and 188_{-17}^{+18}(stat)_{-33}^{+124}(syst)  MeV, respectively. Extracellular vesicle (EV)-based communication in mammalian and plant systems is important for many physiological and pathological processes, and EVs show promise as carriers for RNA interference molecules. In order to compare and analyze the chloroplast (cp) genomes of tomato germplasms and understand their phylogenetic relationships, the cp genomes of 29 tomato germplasms were sequenced and analyzed in this study. The results showed highly conserved characteristics in structure, number of gene and intron, inverted repeat regions, and repeat sequences among the 29 cp genomes. Moreover, single-nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) loci with high polymorphism located at 17 fragments were selected as candidate SNP markers for future studies.

Antiangiogenic treatment targeting the vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) pathway is a powerful tool to combat tumor growth and progression; however, drug resistance frequently emerges. We identify CD5L (CD5 antigen-like precursor) as an important gene upregulated in response to antiangiogenic therapy leading to the emergence of adaptive resistance. By using both an RNA-aptamer and a monoclonal antibody targeting CD5L, we are able to abate the pro-angiogenic effects of CD5L overexpression in both in vitro and in vivo settings.
