Despite the wide range of applications of mRNA therapies, major difficulties exist in the efficient delivery of mRNA into oligodendrocytes, a type of glial cell in the brain. Commonly used viral vectors are not efficient in transforming oligodendrocytes. In this study, we introduced mRNAs into oligodendrocytes with high efficiency and specificity using LUNAR lipid nanoparticles.

Background & Aims: Retinoblastoma-binding protein 9 (RBBP9) was initially reported as cell cycle regulator via RB/E2F. Accumulating evidence has revealed the importance of RBBP9 in physiological and pathological states including inflammatory disease. However, the functional role of RBBP9 in ulcerative colitis (UC) and colitis-associated cancer (CAC) remains elusive.

The antagonistic action of suvorexant on orexin receptors is associated with an increase in rapid eye movement (REM) sleep, which can potentially lead to nightmares depending on the patient's condition. However, the precise risk factors for nightmares among patients taking ORAs, such as suvorexant, have yet to be identified.
