The importance of SUMOylation in tumorigenesis has received increasing attention, and research on therapeutic agents targeting this pathway has progressed. However, the potential function of SUMOylation during hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) progression and the underlying molecular mechanisms remain unclear. Here, we identified that SUMO-Specific Peptidase 3 (SENP3) was upregulated in HCC tissues and correlated with a poor prognosis.

The intestinal microbiota is a key environmental factor in the development of colorectal cancer (CRC). Here, we report that, in the context of mild colonic inflammation, the microbiota protects against colorectal tumorigenesis in mice. This protection is achieved by microbial suppression of the long non-coding RNA (lncRNA) Snhg9.

Genome-wide association analysis of key genes for feed efficiency in Qingyuan Partridge chickens.

Qingyuan Partridge chickens represent a notable breed of high-quality, slow-growing chickens. The cost of feed constitutes 65-70 % of the total breeding expense for Qingyuan Partridge chickens. Enhancing feed utilization efficiency and reducing feed consumption are crucial for the advancement of Qingyuan Partridge chickens and the broader poultry industry.

Molecular characteristics and pathogenicity analysis of infectious laryngotracheitis virus isolated in China from 2015 to 2019.

The aim of this study was to investigate the molecular characteristics and pathogenicity of recently isolated ILTV strains from China, thereby augmenting our understanding of its prevalence. The complete genome sequences of seven ILTV strains obtained from China between 2015 and 2019 were determined by high-throughput sequencing. Phylogenetic analysis showed that six isolates (SD2015, GD2017, SYB2018, HB201812, HB201806, and TJ2019) were classified together with CEO vaccine strains, while only one isolates LN2018 belonged to the wild-type cluster.

Purpose: To investigate the clinical value of Clinical Treatment Score Post-5 Years (CTS5) to predict the survival benefits of postmastectomy radiotherapy (PMRT) of patients with T1-2N1 luminal breast cancer (BC).

Methods: Patients who were diagnosed with T1-2N1 luminal BC between 2010 and 2015 were included in the Surveillance, Epidemiology, and End Results database. The chi-square test, binomial logistic regression, Kaplan-Meier analysis, and multivariable Cox proportional hazard model were used for statistical analyses.
