Objective: This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of fatigue detection technology (FDT) cabin alarms in reducing fatigue events in rural truck drivers, assess the accuracy in detecting fatigue events alarms and examine whether drivers habituate to alarms over time.
Methods: Longitudinal naturalistic study of fatigue events before and after alarm activation.in 12 rural commercial trucks.
In the face of intersecting environmental crises such as climate change, biodiversity loss, and pollution, urgent action on all fronts is critical for a sustainable future. However, the complexity of these challenges can make it difficult for individuals to understand their role and identify meaningful actions. Little is known about how people perceive these interconnected social-ecological systems or their capacity to influence them.

The composition of brain lipids is crucial for neurodevelopment and brain function. Diets enriched in omega (n)-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFA) can modulate brain lipid composition. However, the influence of maternal n-3 PUFA intake on fetal brain lipidome and neuronal membrane structure during gestation is not well studied.

The RNAi machinery includes a set of protein complexes with subcellular localization traditionally presented in a uniform fashion: the microprocessor processes miRNAs in the nucleus, whereas the DICER and the RNA-induced silencing complex (RISC) further process and enable activity of miRNAs in the cytoplasm. However, several studies have identified subcellular patterns of RNAi components that deviate from this model.

The American Academy of Pediatrics now supports longer breastfeeding duration through the first 2 years of age.1 United States legislation in the last 2 decades has made progress in supporting breastfeeding, with policies such as improved access to antenatal and postpartum lactation support, some improvements in double electric breast pump access, and protected time and private spaces to pump at work for many employees.
