Salt stress disturbs plant growth and photosynthesis due to its toxicity. The ice plant Mesembryanthemum crystallinum is a highly salt-tolerant facultative crassulacean acid metabolism (CAM) plant. However, the genetic basis of the salt tolerance mechanisms in ice plants remains unclear.

Purpose: Diagnostic reference levels (DRLs) are defined as fluoroscopic dose rate measurements that are used for patient dose management in angiography. It is recommended that DRLs be measured at least once a year. This study aimed to evaluate the long-term fluctuations of fluoroscopic dose rate in an angiography system.

Background: There is currently no deep neural network (DNN) capable of automatically classifying tibial sesamoid position (TSP) on foot radiographs.

Methods: A DNN was developed to predict TSP according to the Hardy and Clapham's classification. A total of 1554 foot radiographs were used for model development.

During the production of bispecific antibodies (bsAbs), nonspecific pairing results in low yields of target bsAb molecules, an issue known as the "mispairing problem." Several antibody engineering techniques have been developed to overcome mispairing issues. Here, we introduce "bsAb by external pairing and excision" (BAPE), a novel chain pairing method that induces specific chain pairing by fusing external SpyCatcher/Tag and SnoopCatcher/Tag units.
