Objectives: Instilling the principles of ethical and responsible medical research is critical for educating the next generation of clinical researchers. We developed a responsible conduct of research (RCR) workshop and associated curriculum for undergraduate trainees in a quantitative clinical research program.
Methods: Topics in this 7-module RCR workshop are relevant to undergraduate trainees in quantitative fields, many of whom are learning about these concepts for the first time.
Introduction: The population is heterogeneous with varying levels of healthcare needs. Clustering individuals into health segments with more homogeneous healthcare needs allows for better understanding and monitoring of health profiles in the population, which can support data-driven resource allocation.
Methods: Using the developed criteria, data from several of Singapore's national administrative datasets were used to classify individuals into the various health segments.
Laboratory automation in the biopharmaceutical industry as a rule requires contracted service from highly professional automation solution provider, at times involving the purchase and development of specialized or customized hardware and software, which can be proprietary and expensive. Alternatively, with the availability of open-source software customized for automation, it is possible to automate existing laboratory instruments in a do-it-yourself (DIY), low-cost, and flexible fashion. In this work, we used an open-source scripting language, AutoIt, to integrate an existing microplate imager into an existing automation platform that is already equipped with a 4-axis robotic arm and an automated incubator, to achieve automation of the imaging procedure in our cell line development workflow.

These devices typically consist of an electrochromic layer, a transparent conducting substrate, and an electrolyte. The advancement in solid-state ECDs has been driven by the need for improved durability, optical performance, and energy efficiency.

Biphasic and sarcomatoid DPM, regardless of morphology, have worse outcomes. These prognostic findings are well-established but correlation of architectural patterns, cytologic features, and nuclear grade with genetic alterations has not been well studied.
