Objective: To analyze the epidemiological and clinical characteristics of myasthenia gravis (MG) in the Altai region (AR).
Material And Methods: One hundred and twenty-two patients with a verified diagnosis of MG, living in the AR, took part in the study. To collect data, a questionnaire was developed, the data of which formed the basis for the study.
Objective: To explore the experts' opinion on the feasibility of using Mini-Kog, MMSE and GPCOG tests for screening assessment of cognitive impairment in elderly and senile patients at the primary stage of medical care, as well as to compare different characteristics of these tests according to experts' opinion.
Material And Methods: The survey of specialists was carried out on the basis of 6 Medical Centers. Prior to the survey, specialists tested cognitive functions in elderly and senile patients during routine visits undergoing routine admission using Mini-Kog, MMSE and GPCOG tests, as well as interviewed their relatives using the corresponding section of the GPCOG.

Objective: To evaluate the association polymorphisms in genes coding for enzymes involved in vitamin D metabolism (rs703842) and (rs2248359) with the risk of multiple sclerosis (MS).
Material And Methods: Ninety Caucasian patients with remitting MS and 87 volunteers without MS, born and living in the Altai region of Russia, participated in the study. Genotyping was performed by the TaqMan probe method.

Unlabelled: Multiple sclerosis (MS) is often accompanied by a deficiency of vitamin D, the causes of which are not exactly clear how. It is suggested that this may be due to genetically determined characteristics of enzymes of vitamin D3 metabolism in patients with MS.
Objective: To evaluate the relationship between vitamin D status and polymorphisms of the genes encoding enzymes of the vitamin D metabolism (rs703842) and (rs2248359) in patients with MS.
