Replications are important for assessing the reliability of published findings. However, they are costly, and it is infeasible to replicate everything. Accurate, fast, lower-cost alternatives such as eliciting predictions could accelerate assessment for rapid policy implementation in a crisis and help guide a more efficient allocation of scarce replication resources.

Low-grade appendiceal mucinous neoplasm (LAMN) is a tumor that primarily originates from the appendix and belongs to the family of appendiceal mucinous neoplasms (AMNs). In 50% of female patients, AMNs (particularly LAMNs) have a tendency to metastasize to organs in the genital tract, where the neoplasm can mimic the features of primary ovarian mucinous cancer (POMC). The present case report reviewed the difficulties in differentiating between these two types of tumors.

The causes of vasomotor symptoms, including hot flashes, are not fully understood, may be related to molecular factors, and have a polygenic architecture. Nutrients and bioactive molecules supplied to the body with food are metabolized using various enzymatic pathways. They can induce molecular cell signaling pathways and, consequently, activate effector proteins that modulate processes related to hot flashes in menopausal women.

In the development of two-qubit quantum gates, precise control over the intramolecular spin-spin interaction between molecular spin units plays a pivotal role. A weak but measurable exchange coupling is especially important for achieving selective spin addressability that allows controlled manipulation of the computational basis states |00⟩ |01⟩ |10⟩ |11⟩ by microwave pulses. Here, we report the synthesis and Electron Paramagnetic Resonance (EPR) study of a heterometallic meso-meso (m-m) singly-linked V O-Cu porphyrin dimer.
