For nearly 50 years, succinyl-CoA synthetase in animals was thought to be specific for guanine nucleotides. Recently, we purified and characterized both an ADP-forming succinyl-CoA synthetase from pigeon breast muscle and the GDP-forming enzyme from liver (Johnson, J. D.

Material And Methods: Four hundred and ninety-seven patients (63.
Background: Stents coated with amorphous hypothrombogenic silicon carbide (a-SiC:H) have low restenosis rates in humans. Recurrence in a-SiC:H at mid-term follow-up has been shown to be similar to a stainless steel device. The long-term outcome, however, may be different.

Regression-analyses showed that the number of colonic polyps were age- (p = 3 x 10(-8)) and sex-dependent (1.9 x 10(-2)) and skin-tags had no influence on the number of colonic polyps.
