Introduction: Needle-track seeding of prostate cancer into the rectal wall following transrectal prostate biopsy is exceedingly rare. We report a case of mucinous prostate cancer recurrence in the rectal wall due to biopsy needle seeding, discovered after robot-assisted radical prostatectomy.
Case Presentation: A 67-year-old man underwent robot-assisted radical prostatectomy for mucinous prostate cancer (clinical stage T2cN0M0, Gleason score of 4 + 4, and initial prostate-specific antigen level of 8.
Herein, we investigated the positional relationship between the cervical esophagus and trachea using computed tomography (CT) images in dogs with tracheal flattening. From these CT images, the ratio of the tracheal diameters in the short (vertical) and long (horizontal) axes of the tracheal ring (S/L ratio) and the vertebra-trachea-esophagus (VTE) angle were measured at the point from the 3rd cervical (C3) to the 3rd thoracic vertebra (T3) levels. The VTE angle in dogs with tracheal flattening with an S/L ratio under 0.

The incorporation of lower-valence Al cations at Ti sites improved the photocatalytic hydrogen evolution activity. In addition, the anodic photocurrent during oxygen evolution was increased upon adding higher-valence Ta ions.

Due to their persistent nature, urgent removal is necessary. Conventional adsorbents are inefficient at removing PFOS and PFOA, highlighting the need for alternative materials.
