Introduction: Radiography and medical students (RMS), upon graduation, require capabilities to provide life-saving care through identification and communication of urgent findings on radiological imaging. This preliminary study investigated RMS' ability to identify and categorise urgent findings on CT examinations. It also explored their experiences of image interpretation education.

Background: The etiology of nongonococcal urethritis (NGU) is incompletely understood. We sought to determine if genitourinary bacterial diversity or specific taxa were associated with incident NGU.
Methods: From August 2014-July 2018, men who have sex with women attending a sexual health clinic were clinically evaluated, including Mycoplasma genitalium (MG) and Chlamydia trachomatis (CT) testing, at enrollment and six monthly visits.
Enhancer of Rudimentary Homolog (ERH) is an evolutionarily conserved protein originally characterized in fission yeast and recently shown to maintain H3K9me3 in human fibroblasts . Here, we find that ERH depletion in fibroblasts reverts the H3K9me3 landscape to an embryonic stem cell (ESC) state and enables activation of naïve and pluripotency genes and transposable elements during induced pluripotent stem cell (iPSC) reprogramming. We find that ERH similarly represses totipotent and alternative lineage programs during mouse preimplantation development and is required for proper segregation of the inner cell mass and trophectoderm cell lineages.
