Despite extensive research, the exact mechanisms by which mutant p53 proteins promote the development and sustained expansion of cancer remain unclear. This review will discuss the cellular responses controlled by p53 that contribute to tumour suppression, p53 mutant lung cancer mouse models and characterisation of p53 mutant lung cancer.

Methods: First, a questionnaire was developed to assess clients' preference between 2 researcher-developed paragraphs recommending senior pet screening (one focused on the function of screening, the other on pet benefits of screening) and distributed from August 17 to November 2, 2023. Second, veterinary clinic websites were retrieved with a search engine using predefined search phrases related to 4 preventive care topics (flea and tick prevention, heartworm prevention, dental cleaning, and senior bloodwork).
Fine-wire electromyography (EMG) is a traditional laboratory technique to estimate muscle activity of the small foot muscles, however, recordings have not been reported from extensor hallucis brevis (EHB). As an extensor of the great toe, EHB is an important muscle when studying physiological changes associated with foot pathologies such as hallux valgus. The purpose of this study was to develop an ultrasound-guided fine-wire EMG protocol to record EHB muscle activity and report normative EMG profiles of healthy young adults during locomotion.
