Background: The atlantoaxial joint has a complex anatomical configuration and has a wide range of mobility. Traumatic, inflammatory, and neoplastic joint pathologies frequently affect this joint. The aim of this retrospective cross-sectional study was to evaluate the atlanto-dental intervals (ADI) in patients who underwent computed tomography (CT) scans of the neck and cervical spine in at a Tertiary Care Hospital in Karachi, Pakistan.

Exophiala dermatitidis as a cause of central line associated bloodstream infection in an infant: Case report and literature review.

Background: Exophiala dermatitidis is a dematiaceous fungus known to cause superficial, subcutaneous, cutaneous and deep seated infections, and rarely central line associated bloodstream infection (CLABSI). A case of CLABSI due to E. dermatitidis in an infant is described.

Nanoporous TaN electrochemical anodization followed by nitridation for solar water oxidation.

Nanoporous tantalum nitride (Ta3N5) is a promising visible-light-driven photoanode for photoelectrochemical (PEC) water splitting with a narrow band gap of approximately 2.0 eV. It can utilize a large portion of the solar spectrum up to 600 nm to improve the activity of photooxidation reactions because of enhanced light scattering and an overall increase of the surface area with high light absorption and carrier collection.
