Objectives: The level of knowledge about contraceptives overall is low in the United States. This qualitative study adds to the literature that explores gendered differences in contraceptive knowledge. Specifically, we examined knowledge regarding different contraceptive methods, directions on use, mechanism of action, efficacy, and adverse effects.

However, this technology offers the advantage of capturing the 3D surface without exposing patients to potentially harmful radiation. Continuous assessment allows the follow-up of swelling patterns, cartilage alignment, and bone remodeling.

Characterization of Fat Used for the Optimization of the Soft Tissue Envelope of the Nose in Rhinoplasty.

Septorhinoplasty (SRP) is one of the most common aesthetic procedures worldwide. A thin or scarred soft tissue envelope, especially in the context of secondary SRP, can lead to unpredictable scarring, shrinkage, and discoloration of the skin. Other than the careful preparation of the soft tissue mantle, no gold standard exists to minimize the above-mentioned risks.

Comparison of three-dimensional imaging of the nose using three different 3D-photography systems: an observational study.

Background: New 3D technologies for superficial soft tissue changes, especially in plastic and reconstructive surgical procedures, can improve the planning and documentation of facial surgeries. The purpose of this study was to compare and determine the applicability and feasibility of three different 3D-photography systems in clinical practice imaging the nose.

Methods: A total of 16 healthy non-operated noses were included in this prospective study.
