Objective: To report the clinical use, adverse events, and outcomes after using amikacin in 30% poloxamer 407 (amikacin-P407) during open wound management or in a closed wound application in dogs.

Animals: 29 client-owned dogs.

Methods: Medical records from January 2017 to August 2023 from a single hospital were reviewed for dogs that received amikacin-P407 in an open or closed wound application.

Legionella concentrations in drinking water have been regulated for decades and are evaluated with regard to their concentrations in drinking water plumbing systems (DWPS). The respective action levels differ at the international level. In Germany, the Federal Environment Agency (UBA) specifies the application of ISO 11731 for the detection of legionella in drinking water and gives a binding recommendation for the methods to be used for culturing and evaluation.

Introduction: Endometrial scratching (ES) is a simple technique that has been claimed to improve pregnancy rates in patients undergoing assisted reproduction techniques. Our objective was to acknowledge the effects of ES in subsequent embryo transfers by assessing the cumulative live birth rates (LBR) in patients undergoing egg-donor in vitro fertilization (IVF).

Material And Methods: We performed a follow-up analysis of the cumulative reproductive outcomes of the 352 patients included in the Endoscratch Trial (NCT03108157) during the twelve months following the randomization date.
