Leg ulcers are a major complication of sickle cell disease (SCD). They are particularly challenging to treat and innovative therapies are needed. We previously showed that the healing of SCD ulcers is delayed because of decreased angiogenesis.

- A survey was distributed to parents through their kids in three different schools.
- Results showed that many parents are not diligent about sun protection, with only 23.5% consistently covering their children's skin and 74.1% not always using sunscreen, indicating a need for more awareness campaigns about melanoma.
Background: Erythema multiforme (EM) is an acute inflammatory mucocutaneous condition. EM is rarely described in children and infants.
