Background: Antimicrobial resistance is a global health challenge with profound implications across sectors. Livestock, a significant field at the One Health interface, lacks sufficient information, particularly in low-resource settings such as Malawi.
Objectives: We determined the antimicrobial resistance rates of isolated from broiler chickens in Malawi and explored the relationship between resistance genes across sectors using genomic analysis.
We characterized the safety and efficacy of the bispecific antibody teclistamab in Japanese patients with relapsed/refractory multiple myeloma (RRMM). Patients were pretreated with a proteasome inhibitor (PI), immunomodulatory drug (IMiD), and anti-CD38 monoclonal antibody (mAb). The primary endpoint was frequency and type of treatment-emergent adverse events (TEAEs) in phase 1, and overall response rate (ORR; ≥ partial response [PR]) in phase 2.

Seven yeast strains, NBRC 11072, NBRC 11076, NBRC 11078, NBRC 11080, NBRC 116645, NBRC 116646 and NBRC 116647, were isolated from the subtropical regions of Japan. The seven strains share identical nucleotide sequences in the D1/D2 domains of the large subunit (LSU) rRNA gene and internal transcribed spacer (ITS) regions. Six strains (NBRC 11072, NBRC 11076, NBRC 11078, NBRC 11080, NBRC 116645 and NBRC 116646) share identical mitochondrial cytochrome c oxidase subunit II (COX II) sequences as well, while NBRC 116647 differs from them by one substitution in this region.
