Salivary gland lesions are a group of heterogeneous lesions inclusive of non-neoplastic and neoplastic lesions. History, clinical examination and preoperative investigations attempt to minimise the challenges faced in diagnosing these diverse lesions. Preoperative investigations include imaging and cytopathology.
View Article and Find Full Text PDFBackground: Hospital-generated waste materials commonly labeled as "Biomedical waste" (BMW) is a kind of remnant that includes infectious and non-infectious materials and their appropriate disposals are controlled as per the guidelines of Biomedical Waste Management (BMWM) Amendment Rules, 2018, Government of India. Periodic assessment on BMWM among healthcare workers (HCWs) is mandated to ensure quality assurance, which may be helpful during pandemic times.
Materials And Methods: The study was conducted with ethical clearance by using a validated questionnaire (using Cronbach's α) covering knowledge, attitude, and practices (KAP) derived based on recent BMWM 2018 guidelines.
Background: Leprosy is manifested in varied forms based on the immune status of the patient giving rise to the polar and borderline spectrum of tuberculoid (TT) and lepromatous leprosy (LL). The present study was conducted to assess the macrophage activation in the spectrum of leprosy using CD1a and Factor XIIIa immunohistochemical markers and to correlate the macrophage expression with the morphological spectrum and bacillary index.
Methodology: The present study was an observational study.

It is alarming to note that, the mobile phone use has increased amongst children and they are exposed to potentially harmful radiofrequency radiation in their lifetime.
Aim: To investigate the long term exposure of 900 to 1800 MHz radiations emitted from 2G mobile phone in mice hippocampus at histomorphometric level.
