Assessing the Prevalence of School Burnout in German High Schools: Psychometric Properties, Gender Differences, and Cut-Off Criteria.

School-related stress and burnout can have serious consequences for students' well-being and academic outcomes. However, there are few studies that assess the prevalence of school burnout, especially in Germany. The present study aims to determine the percentage of = 1117 high school students who are likely to suffer from school burnout-also with regard to differences in gender and grade level.

Vesicoscopic vs. Open Ureteral Reimplantation According to Cohen and Leadbetter-Politano for Vesicoureteral Reflux.

Background: The minimally invasive implementations of the established open methods for the correction of primary vesicoureteral reflux have proven to be successful in terms of feasibility and safety. [Explaining Learning Disorders to Primary School Children: Evaluation of a Psychoeducational Lesson About Learning Disorders].

The pilot study investigates the effect of a one-hour psychoeducational lesson for primary school children about specific learning disorders. A pre-post-follow-up-design with waitlist control group has been used. The study examines whether third grade children's (N = 85) knowledge as well as classroom climate, social integration, and well-being could be improved through the psychoeducational lesson.

[Psychoeducation for Parents of Children with Learning Disorders: A Satisfaction Study].

The present study investigates the implementation of psychoeducation for conveying a diagnosis of specific learning disorders to the parents of affected children. It addresses the question of how such consultations are structured and which factors predict how satisfied parents are with the psychoeducation they receive. 167 parents of children with specific learning disorders from Germany were surveyed via an online questionnaire and asked about their experiences and satisfaction with the psychoeducational aspects of their individual consultation.
