Aims: Quantitative rest-stress myocardial perfusion in millilitres per minute per gram among multiple 2D and 3D positron emission tomography-computed tomography (PET-CT) scanners is essential for personalized cardiac management and clinical trials. Accordingly, this study reports the accuracy and precision of quantitative rest-stress millilitres per minute per gram and coronary flow capacity among 2D and two different digital 3D silicon photomultiplier (SiPM) PET-CT scanners for quantifying the severity of coronary pathophysiology for clinical trials or guiding interventions vs. medical treatment.

Method: Consecutive LT candidates (n = 114) undergoing cardiac rest/stress PET were instructed to abstain from caffeine for 2 days extended to 5 and 7 days. Due to persistently high prevalence of measurable blood caffeine after 5-day caffeine abstinence, dipyridamole (n = 41) initially used was changed to dobutamine (n = 73).
This study investigated the quality of 13 essential medicines in the states of Enugu and Anambra, Nigeria. A total of 260 samples were purchased from licensed pharmaceutical manufacturers and wholesalers and from vendors in pharmaceutical markets with unclear licensing status. Samples were analyzed for identity, content, and dissolution according to the United States Pharmacopeia (USP) 42 monographs.

A marked increase in platelet responsiveness has previously been observed in patients within minutes of receiving UFH, despite adequate inhibition by aspirin prior to heparin. We studied this phenomenon in patients undergoing cardiac artery bypass grafting (n = 17) to determine whether the effects of heparin were systemic or platelet-specific.

But still, to date, a lack of detailed structural knowledge about this ultracomplex biopolymer undermines its great potential. The chemical complexity of lignin demands a combination of different, powerful analytical methods, in order to obtain these necessary information.
