Omental Prolapse Through Vaginal Cuff Dehiscence.

Case Presentation: A 31-year-old female presented to the emergency department with abdominal pain and a 15-centimeter bloody vaginal protrusion, which resulted during an attempted bowel movement. Reduction of the mass was unsuccessful, and the patient was taken to the operating room for examination.

Discussion: In patients with a history of vaginal hysterectomy, the vaginal cuff can dehisce and abdominal contents may protrude through the vaginal canal.

Identification of Cancer Related Risk and Protective Factors for American Indian Youth: A Mixed Studies Review.

Introduction: Many causes of cancer related morbidity and mortality can be traced back to childhood behaviors. The culmination of cancer related risk and protective factors impacting the health and wellbeing of American Indian youth is unknown. The aim of this Mixed Studies Review was to identify cancer related risk and protective factors among American Indian youth.

Extra-anatomical veno-venous surgical bypass for central vein occlusion in patients with ipsilateral arterio-venous fistula (AVF) for haemodialysis - A single centre experience.

Objective: Central vein occlusion is a common complication related to central vein catheter insertion for haemodialysis which can be unmasked by an ipsilateral fistula creation, leading to a dysfunctional arteriovenous fistula (AVF). We describe an extra-anatomical venous bypass surgical procedure performed to maintain vascular access and reduce the symptoms of swelling of the ipsilateral upper limb, neck and face.

Materials And Methods: We report 20 consecutive patients with end-stage renal failure (ESRF) who had central vein occlusion and were not amenable to endovascular intervention.

The open retrograde approach as an alternative for failed percutaneous access for difficult below the knee chronic total occlusions-A case series.

Unlabelled: Retrograde puncture via patent pedal vessels can be attempted in failed antegrade approach for infrapopliteal long chronic total occlusion. However in cases where the pedal vessels are unable to be visualized via duplex ultrasonography or fluoroscopy an open approach offers an additional option to a vascular surgeon for successful recanalization. Our case report highlights 3 cases where successful hybrid open retrograde approach was able to achieve recanalization of long chronic total occlusion.
