Prevalence and Clinical Aspects of Infection among High-Risk Women in Karaj, Iran.

Background: Trichomoniasis is a common sexually transmitted infection (STI) caused by the protozoan which causes health and emotional damages to the sufferers annually. We aimed to investigate the prevalence of and its related risk factors among the high-risk women in the city of Karaj, central Iran.

Methods: This cross-sectional study was conducted between October 2021 and September 2022.

The association between age of menopause and type 2 diabetes: a systematic review and meta-analysis.

Background: Type-2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) is considered one of the chronic diseases that can have a relationship with age of menopause onset. Several studies have revealed that early menopause or late menopause can have a correlation with type-2 diabetes. This systematic review and meta-analysis aimed to investigate the association between the age of menopause onset and type-2 diabetes.

Investigating the impact of environmental feedback on the optional prisoner's dilemma for insights into cyclic dominance and evolution of cooperation.

This study incorporates environmental feedback into the optional prisoner's dilemma and rock-paper-scissors games to examine the mutual influence of eco-evolutionary outcomes and strategy dynamics. A novel game-theoretic model is developed that integrates the optional prisoner's dilemma and rock-paper-scissors games by incorporating an environmental state variable. By adjusting feedback parameters, chaos, oscillations and coexistence are observed that surpass the usual outcomes of social dilemmas when the environment transitions between depleted and replenished states.

Integration of social determinant of health in patient's history-taking in medical education: an educational scholarship and action research study: phase I.

Background And Objective: One of the most important aspects of health is social health. Addressing social health and social accountability is possible by education of social determinants of health (SDH) to medical students. The aim of current study is to integrate the SDH variables to patient's history-taking in medical education during clerkship stage as an action research and scholarship in education.
