The oral behavior screener: a brief caregiver-completed measure of oral behaviors.

Introduction: To date, there are no caregiver-reported screening measures of oral behaviors related to feeding. The goal of this study was to develop such a measure.

Method: Caregivers of 803 children referred to a feeding clinic and 188 comparison children reported their children's frequency of nine oral behaviors.

Parent feeding practices in infants and toddlers referred to a hospital-based feeding program in the United States.

While considerable research exists on parent feeding practices for infants and toddlers, past research has not focused on children with feeding problems. The goal of this study was to identify parent feeding practices in a sample of infants (n = 178) and toddlers (n = 221) referred to a hospital-based feeding clinic and then examine how these parent feeding practices were correlated with specific feeding problems. Parents completed surveys to report child demographics, feeding problems, and use of 54 feeding practices.

Sonic boom propagation in urban canyons using a combined ray tracing/radiosity method.

Sonic boom propagation over land is being studied to ensure a minimal impact on the population in the event that supersonic flight over land becomes permissible. Sonic boom behavior in and around urban areas is particularly important due to the high density of people residing in cities and the increased probability of impacting large numbers of people if urban areas lie in the flight path. This study models sonic booms around urban canyons using a combined ray tracing/radiosity method.

Modulation of cellular transcriptome and proteome composition by azidohomoalanine-implications on click chemistry-based secretome analysis.

The analysis of the secretome provides important information on proteins defining intercellular communication and the recruitment and behavior of cells in specific tissues. Especially in the context of tumors, secretome data can support decisions for diagnosis and therapy. The mass spectrometry-based analysis of cell-conditioned media is widely used for the unbiased characterization of cancer secretomes in vitro.

Ability to assess the severity of personality psychopathology based on the Structured Interview of Personality Organization (STIPO) in master's students of "Addictology".

Background: With the development of multidisciplinary addictology teams, the ability of an addictologist to reliably assess personality psychopathology can be considered an important prerequisite that significantly enters the process of treatment planning.

Aims: Verification of the reliability and validity of the assessment of personality psychopathology in master's students of Addictology (addiction science) based on the Structured Interview of Personality Organization (STIPO) scoring course.

Methods: 31 Master's students of Addictology independently evaluated 7 STIPO protocols based on recordings.
