Article Synopsis
  • - The study investigates HIV-related mortality trends among young adults in the U.S. from 1999 to 2020, revealing significant demographic and regional differences in mortality rates.
  • - Findings show that while the age-adjusted mortality rates (AAMRs) declined from 1999 to 2018, there was a stabilization from 2018 to 2020, with males and non-Hispanic Blacks experiencing much higher death rates compared to females and Whites, respectively.
  • - The Southern region of the U.S. and urban areas reported notably higher mortality rates, urging the need for urgent action to address these disparities in HIV-related deaths.

The captivating realm of the nonlinear coupled Davey-Stewartson Fokas system is explored in this research paper. As a powerful tool, the proposed system is utilized for the realistic representation of various non-linear dynamical mechanisms in different fields of sciences and engineering including non-linear optical fibers, plasma physics and water waves theory. Two distinct exact methods, namely the modified auxiliary equation method and the extended -expansion method, are utilized to acquire the exact soliton solutions of the non-linear coupled Davey-Stewartson Fokas system.

Water is essential for the survival of all living things; however, its extensive use in agriculture, high-tech manufacturing, energy production, and the rapid development of the chemical and petroleum industries has led to significant contamination, making water pollution a major concern today. Ammonia is one of the most harmful contaminants present in water, posing significant environmental and health risks that require appropriate remediation methods. To remove ammonia from contaminated water, we employ Carbon Nanotubes (CNTs) and Activated Carbon (AC).

To analyze and study the behaviour of the shallow water waves, the perturbed Boussinesq equation has acquired fundamental importance. The principal objective of this paper is to manifest the exact traveling wave solution of the perturbed Boussinesq equation by two well known techniques named as, two variables [Formula: see text] expansion method and generalized projective Riccati equations method. A diverse array of soliton solutions, encompassing periodic, bright solitons, singular solitons and bright singular solitons are obtained by the applications of proposed techniques.

In this work there was investigated the synergistic effect of the nanomaterials-the Montmorillonite (MMT) and the vanadium pentoxide (VO) on the polyvinyl alcohol (PVA)/starch composite. The composite films were prepared by the solvent casting method. The characterization of the composites showed that the addition of the MMT and the VO to PVA/starch composite decreased the water solubility and water absorption capacity of the film.
