Background: This study aims at evaluating the validity profile of Titmus vision screener V4 for gauging visual acuity and colour perception as a screening tool.

Methods: Eleven hundred young adults attending eye OPD at a tertiary care center were included in the study. All individuals underwent distance visual acuity (DVA) measurement with Snellen chart and Titmus vision screener V4, at 6 m on the same day.

Background: Food Safety and Standards Authority of India, established under the Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006, is mandated with disseminating evidence-based standards, regulating the manufacture, storage, distribution, sale, and import of street food, for ensuring the availability of safe and wholesome food for human consumption and matters connected in addition to that or incidental to that. Hence, this study was conducted to ascertain the conformance of the design of street food vendor's carts to the prescribed standards.

Methods: We conducted a cross-sectional study in Chandigarh between July 2017 and March 2018 among 400 street food vendors.

Purpose: This introductory study aims to analyze the association of serum vitamin D3 levels with recently detected myopia in Indian children following home confinement post-COVID-19 pandemic.

Methods: Children aged 5-15 years who had not attended physical school in the past 1 year and visited the ophthalmology department with various ocular symptoms were divided into two groups: the myopic group with recently detected myopia and the non-myopic group with ocular ailments other than myopia. All children underwent basic ophthalmic evaluation and a general physical examination.
