In recent years, 68Ga-FAP inhibitor has emerged as a possible substitute radiotracer to FDG for imaging of most of the tumors. Here, we report a 7-year-old girl diagnosed with recurrent papillary tumor of the pineal gland, presenting with complaints of headache and vomiting. 18F-FDG PET/CT revealed an FDG-avid enhancing lesion in the posterior part of the third ventricle.

Brucellosis is one of the causes of FUO, which can be missed as it requires a longer incubation period for growth on culture media. Rarely, it can involve the prostate.

While there are many causes of this rhythm, including electrolyte imbalances, ischemia, and genetic disorders, iatrogenic etiologies are important to recognize. Abiraterone is an androgen synthesis antagonist effective in treating prostate cancer, but here we describe a case of severe hypokalemia secondary to abiraterone resulting in polymorphic ventricular tachycardia and cardiac arrest.

Here, we report a compelling case of a 42-year-old woman who presented with lupus enteritis as a sole manifestation of systemic lupus erythematosus and underwent 18 F-FDG PET/CT. The resected bowel segment revealed vasculitis, and subsequent workup revealed positive antinuclear and anti-double-stranded antibody levels, confirming lupus enteritis, thus highlighting the diagnostic role of 18 F-FDG PET/CT in reaching the final diagnosis.
