Nowadays, industries place a strong emphasis on low-cost, biodegradable materials with long lifespans. As a result, businesses are concentrating on creating composite materials utilizing the world's plentiful supply of natural fibers. In this study, acacia and raffia fibers are combined with epoxy resin and a hand layup method to create a biodegradable composite laminate.

Recently, there has been an inclination towards natural fibre reinforced polymer composites owing to their merits such as environmental friendliness, light weight and excellent strength. In the present study, six laminates were fabricated consisting of natural fibres such as Kenaf fibre ( L.) and Bamboo fibre, together with multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) as reinforcing fillers in the epoxy matrix.

Cissus quadrangularis biodegradable natural cellulosic fibers comprehensively characterized to assess their potential as reinforcing materials in polymer composites. Initially, the Cissus quadrangularis fibers were chemically treated with 5% Sodium hydroxide (NaOH) and 5% magnesium carbonate (MgCO) to improvise the properties of the fiber. The mechanical test result shows that chemically treated 5% MgCO fiber show that 4% and 24% improved tensile strength compared to NaOH and untreated ones.

In recent days, there is an increasing use of green composites in composite manufacturing, where cellulosic natural fibers have been started using for this purpose. In line with this, a novel cellulose fiber was extracted from the Kigelia africana fruit and its physical, chemical and thermal properties, crystallography and surface morphology analysis were studied and reported in this investigative research paper. The physical analysis revealed the mean tensile strength as 50.
