Evaluation of functional gastrointestinal disorders in children aged 4-10 years with autism spectrum disorder.

Background: Gastrointestinal system disorders are known to be prevalent among children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Some ASD-associated comorbidities are abdominal pain, constipation, diarrhea, gastroesophageal reflux, sleep disturbances, epilepsy, and psychiatric problems. Nonetheless, there is still limited information about the presence of functional GI disorders (FGIDs) among children with ASD, especially in Türkiye.

In this context, the aim of this study is to identify the moderating role of perceived organizational support in the effect of workload perception on burnout within the emergency healthcare professionals' universe.

An Unconventional Approach to Overcome the Extreme Angulation of LAD: A Challenging Percutaneous Coronary Intervention.

We herein describe a challenging acute anterior ST-elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI) case. The patient was hemodynamically unstable during the procedure and the extremely angulated culprit vessel hindered our repeated attempts of wiring. Procedural complexity and risks were increased not only due to angulation but also the bifurcational nature of the culprit lesion.

Adsorptive removal of crystal violet from wastewater using sodium alginate-gelatin-montmorillonite ternary composite microbeads.

In this study, the performance of the montmorillonite-filled sodium alginate/gelatin (SA-GEL-MMT) ternary biocomposite microbeads on the adsorptive removal of crystal violet (CV) dye was investigated. Firstly, the composites containing different weight ratios of MMT such as 10 %, 15 %, and 20 % were prepared. The composite beads were cross-linked using a calcium chloride (3%wt/v) solution.
