A new sensitive and stability indicating reverse phase high-performance liquid chromatography method has been developed for the quantitative determination of potential impurities of Ledipasvir, active pharmaceutical ingredient. Efficient chromatographic separation was achieved on waters × select column contains C18 stationary phase in gradient mode, quantitation at wavelength of 325 nm and mobile phase A is 50 mM ammonium formate pH 3.5 and mobile phase B is acetonitrile with flow rate 1.

Objective: To investigate the total alkaloid fraction of the methanol extract of leaves of Hygrophila auriculata for its hepatoprotective activity against CCl4-induced toxicity in freshly isolated rat hepatocytes, HepG2 cells, and animal models.

Materials And Methods: Mature leaves of H. auriculata were collected, authenticated, and subjected to methanolic extraction followed by isolation of total alkaloid fraction.

To investigate Lecithin for its hepatoprotective activity against D-galactosamine (D-GalN) induced toxicity in freshly isolated rat hepatocytes and animal models. Freshly isolated rat hepatocytes were exposed to Dgalactosamine (30 mM) along with/without lecithin (100 μg/ml) and the levels of selected liver enzymes were measured. Thirty six Wistar strain albino rats were used for the in vivo investigations.
