Listeriolysin O (LLO) is a potent membrane-damaging pore-forming toxin (PFT) secreted by the bacterial pathogen . LLO belongs to the family of cholesterol-dependent cytolysins (CDCs), which specifically target cholesterol-containing cell membranes to form oligomeric pores and induce membrane damage. CDCs, including LLO, harbor designated pore-forming motifs.

Despite its established importance in murine models, the role of UTF1 on human induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) has not been comprehensively studied.
Methods: This study utilized CRISPR/Cas9 gene editing to create UTF1 knockout in human fibroblasts and iPSCs.
Introduction: Transarterial chemoembolization (TACE) has an established role in advanced HCC. The present study evaluates the role of TACE as a neoadjuvant modality in the management of intermediate HCC [Hong Kong Liver Cancer (HKLC) stage IIB].
Materials And Methods: A retrospective analysis of HCC patients treated between January 2010 and August 2022 was performed.
