The article considers the results of studying the aggregation function of thrombocytes including indicators of homeostasis system and routine biochemical markers in patients with chronic kidneys disease receiving hemodialysis sessions. It is demonstrated that plasma hemostasis is activated in all patients. The relationship is established between aggregation degree and level of fibrinolitic activity of plasma and concentration of calcium and phosphorus in blood serum.

The anti-inflammatory effects of five pyrazolidine derivatives on white mice and laboratory rats were studied using models of thermal aseptic inflammation and inflammation induced by injection of carragenin and histamine, as well as models of "cotton-ball granuloma" and epinephrine (adrenaline)-induced pulmonary edema. These effects were compared with those of the most commonly used non-steroid anti-inflammatory drugs, such as phenylbutazone (CAS 50-33-9) and diclofenac (CAS 15307-79-6). It was found that the pyrazolidine compounds studied induced a pronounced anti-inflammatory effect by inhibiting both the proliferative and exudative phases of inflammation.

Cyclic daily experiments were conducted using the standard method of free behavior of animals in an "open field" (Opto-Varimex, USA) with by the hour recording of locomotor parameters. The neuromodulating activity of 124 pharmacological agents was compared according to the size and duration of their stimulating or depressant effect.

Effects of four main inhibitors of rat liver tissue alcohol dehydrogenase (4-methyl pyrasol, dimethyl sulfoxide, amide isovaleric acid and dioxime benzoylacetic aldehyde) were studied. Constants and type of inhibition of these substances were evaluate. Effects of these inhibitors on alternative pathways of aliphatic alcohols oxidation were studied: on microsomal ethanol oxidizing system, catalase, xanthine oxidase and on aldehyde dehydrogenases.
