Antibodies against Ku have been described in patients with various connective tissue diseases. The objective of this study was to describe the clinical, functional, and imaging characteristics of interstitial lung disease in patients with anti-Ku antibodies. : This single-center, retrospective observational study was conducted at a tertiary referral institution.

Tailoring UV Penetration Depth in Photopolymer Nanocomposites: Advancing SLA 3D Printing Performance with Nanofillers.

This study examines the influence of nanofillers on the ultraviolet (UV) penetration depth of photopolymer resins used in stereolithography (SLA) 3D printing, and their impact on printability. Three nanofillers, multiwalled carbon nanotubes (MWCNT), graphene nanoplatelets (xGNP), and boron nitride nanoparticles (BNNP), were incorporated into a commercially available photopolymer resin to prepare nanocomposite formulations. The UV penetration depth (Dp) was assessed using the Windowpane method, revealing a significant reduction with the addition of nanofillers.

A Novel Tool to Communicate the Needs of Survivors of Trauma to Health Professionals: A Mixed Methods Pilot Study.

Aim(s): To explore the acceptability and feasibility of using a trauma-informed communication tool to convey client needs to health professionals; and to understand the barriers and enablers for clients using the tool.

Design: Mixed methods design pilot study conducted by nurses from a regional community health service in Victoria, Australia, of purposively sampled clients who have a history of sexual assault and/or family violence and clinicians from a primary care service.

Methods: The investigators developed a pocket-sized communication card to convey clients' history of trauma and the clients' emotional and physical needs to health care providers.

Microalgae-Derived Peptides: Exploring Bioactivities and Functional Food Innovations.

A variety of bioactive peptides with unique and diverse structures could be found in microalgae with various bioactivities including antioxidant, antihypertensive, and antibacterial bioactivities. Food products containing microalgae peptides hold significant health and nutrition potential. Peptide liberation through enzymatic and other processes enhanced protein extraction, and some animal studies were conducted to verify their health-promoting effects.
