Osteosarcoma is a malignant tumor, derived from primitive bone-forming mesenchymal cells, and its aggressive nature often leads to significant morbidity and mortality, with amputation being routinely performed in localized cases. Post-amputation morbidity has a significant impact on the quality of life of the affected individuals. The tumor frequently metastasizes to the lungs and bones, and widespread disease remains the leading cause of most patient deaths.

Background And Aims: Prone positioning increases oxygenation by recruiting dorsal lung regions and draining airway secretions and improves gas exchange and survival in ARDS. We describe the efficacy of prone positioning in awake non-intubated spontaneously breathing COVID-19 positive patients with hypoxemic acute respiratory failure.

Methods: We studied 26 awake non-intubated spontaneously breathing patients with hypoxemic respiratory failure treated with prone positioning.

Objective: Screening patients on anthracycline-based chemotherapy regimens for the development of cardiotoxicity can be resource intensive. We therefore studied various traditional electrocardiogram (ECG) parameters to correlate and possibly predict the development of elevated Troponin I as a surrogate marker of anthracycline-induced cardiotoxicity.

Materials And Methods: This was a single-centre prospective cohort study done between January 2014 to January 2016.
