Light-ion irradiations on natural platinum were performed to measure gold-radioisotope cross sections and isotope ratios, as well as to produce a carrier-free final product. Experimental cross sections are compared to TENDL-2023. There is good agreement with this work's results and other published literature values.

Recent Findings: Large database studies have provided evidence that patients with bladder cancer have worse HRQOL than the general population. While transurethral resections and intravesical therapy are known to cause urinary symptoms, a large impact on HRQOL otherwise has not been demonstrated.
Background: Enhanced Recovery after Surgery (ERAS®) is a standardized perioperative approach that utilizes a multidisciplinary team to reduce physiologic stress and improve postoperative recovery. The purpose of our study is to evaluate outcomes in pediatric, adolescent, and young adult (AYA) patients undergoing major oncologic operations before and after the implementation of an enhanced recovery program (ERP).
Methods: All patients ≤23 years old who underwent major oncologic surgery between 1/2017-2/2022 were identified.
Sculpins (coastrange and slimy) and sticklebacks (ninespine and threespine) are widely distributed fishes cohabiting 2 south-central Alaskan lakes (Aleknagik and Iliamna), and all these species are parasitized by cryptic diphyllobothriidean cestodes in the genus . The goal of this investigation was to test for host-specific parasitic relationships between sculpins and sticklebacks based upon morphological traits (segment counts) and sequence variation across the NADH1 gene. A total of 446 plerocercoids was examined.
