This study aimed to evaluate the impact of priming on an individual's problem-solving ability, investigate the existence and direction of the relationship, and examine whether gender differences influence the extent of priming. A sample of 625 undergraduate medical and paramedical students was randomly assigned to either a positive or negative priming group. Data was collected through online forms using Ditloid puzzles, which assess a person's linguistic and word-forming (verbal) ability.

We present early efficacy and safety of BDQ containing regimens for DR-TB.

Background: Drug-Resistant Tuberculosis (DR-TB) patients for whom a WHO recommended regimen along with Bedaquiline (BDQ) cannot be prescribed, Delamanid (DLM) was added along with other drugs to provide a "Salvage Regimen". The experience of the Institute in respect of early efficacy and safety of both drugs given together is presented.

Introduction: There is lack of information on the proportion of new smear-positive pulmonary tuberculosis (PTB) patients treated with a 6-month thrice-weekly regimen under Revised National Tuberculosis Control Programme (RNTCP) who develop recurrent TB after successful treatment outcome.
Objective: To estimate TB recurrence among newly diagnosed PTB patients who have successfully completed treatment and to document endogenous reactivation or re-infection. Risk factors for unfavourable outcomes to treatment and TB recurrence were determined.
Background: DOTS Plus site at LRS Institute, New Delhi, covering 1.8 million population.
Aims: To ascertain if sputum smear could be used as a surrogate for culture during intensive phase of treatment of MDR-TB patients thereby enabling early shift from intensive phase to continuation phase, reducing the need for frequent cultures and saving time and cost in their management.
