Polymer composites having high thermal conductivity (TC) gained great interest, including the advancement of electronic devices to become more functionalized, scaled, and integrated. In view of these, herein, highly thermal conductive polyurethane (PU)-/SiC composites are fabricated via the solution casting method. Silicon carbide is used as the filler in both flexible and rigid-polyurethane matrices to enhance the value of TC for electronic applications.

Three different organic solvents; ethyl acetate (EA), o-dichlorobenzene (ODCB), and nitrobenzene (NB), with a solubility parameter analogous to PLLA and with a high capability of swelling, were chosen. It has been witnessed that the degree of crystallization and crystal morphology depends highly on the degree of swelling and evaporation rate of the solvent.

The inhibiting effect of BK-218 was greater than that of cephalexin and cefoxitin on penicillin-binding proteins of Escherichia coli HB101. This result was in close correlation with the relative inhibition of radiolabeled glucosamine incorporation (greatest with BK-218) and with the lytic effect (most intensive with BK-218).
