Cone Beam CT to Guide Transorbital Treatment of a Cavernous Sinus Dural Arteriovenous Fistula in a Patient with Middle Meningeal Artery Origin of the Ophthalmic Artery.

Transorbital puncture to embolize cavernous sinus (CS) dural arteriovenous fistulas (DAVF) is a useful strategy when conventional transvenous routes are inaccessible. We report a case of bilateral CS DAVF associated with bilateral middle meningeal artery (MMA) origin of ophthalmic arteries (OA) who had recently undergone transvenous coil embolization. She presented with persistent symptoms of conjunctival congestion and proptosis in the left eye.

Balloon-Assistance for the Transcirculation Access of a Remodeling Balloon for Coiling of Wide-Necked Aneurysms: Report of Two Cases.

Balloons are valuable tools in the armamentarium of a neurointerventionist. In this report, we describe 2 cases in which a balloon aided in the navigation of a second remodeling balloon through difficult vascular anatomy. The first case was a patient with a ruptured proximal posterior inferior cerebellar artery aneurysm and the second case was a patient with a ruptured anterior communicating artery aneurysm.

Gradenigo's syndrome--a rare complication of otitis media.

Petrous apicitis is a rare intracranial complication of otitis media. A 4-year-old female child was presented with persistent ear discharge, retro-orbital pain and lateral rectus palsy (triad of Gradenigo's syndrome). A right temporal burr-hole was placed and tapping was done under antibiotic coverage.

Primary spinal intradural hydatid cyst--a short report.

Primary spinal hydatid cysts are uncommon. Among these, intradural presentation is very rare. A case of primary spinal intradural hydatid cyst presenting as incomplete dorsal cord compression is reported here for its rarity.

Bilateral internuclear ophthalmoplegia following mild head injury.

A 7-year-old child presented with bilateral internuclear ophthalmoplegia (INO) following a trivial head injury. CT was normal. MRI revealed a pontine lesion.
