A mixed phenotype is characteristic of de novo Mixed Phenotype Acute Leukemia (MPAL) but can also be seen in other leukemias. It poses substantial classification and management dilemmas. Herein, we report a large cohort of acute leukemia with a mixed phenotype and define Acute Myeloid Leukemia with Mixed Phenotype (AML-MP) and MPAL as two distinct groups by characterizing the clinical, genetic, and transcriptomic features.

Most anaesthetic agents minimally suppress the noradrenergic system. We hypothesised that addition of dexmedetomidine, which suppresses noradrenergic activity, may reduce encephalographic (EEG) arousal in response to tracheal intubation; such an effect would lay the foundation for future studies of dexmedetomidine in reducing intraoperative awareness.

The evidence base of IO is growing and IO measures are included in national guidelines. Still, many questions about IO remain unanswered or still show a poor evidence base.

Small bandgap scintillators have gained significant attention in recent years. Especially CsPbBr is an interesting material, mitigating the small Stokes shift-related problem of perovskites like CsPbBr. In this work, optical and scintillation properties of CsPbBr single crystals are investigated as a function of temperature, with a detailed focus at 10 K.
