Actinomycosis is a rare chronic infection, caused by species of the bacterium spp. This report proposes oral breast trauma as a cause of infection. An adult female in her 30s presented with a recurrent left breast abscess to a local hospital.

Patients And Methods: • A retrospective analysis was carried out of 80 unilateral nephrectomies performed at the Wagga Wagga Base Hospital, Calvary Private Hospital and Austin Hospital from January 2007 to December 2009. • Prognostic variables were patient age, sex and the presence of hypertension or diabetes.
In the field of molecular analysis of cancer, there exists a need for a clinical device that can automate protocols for immunohistochemical and in situ hybridization diagnostic staining on tissue microarrays. The tissue microarray antibody spotter (TMAS) has been developed to provide fundamental improvements over current histological staining techniques by enabling precision application of reagents to individual biopsies within a tissue microarray. This allows for multiplexed reactions on a single slide and promises to significantly reduce costs associated with immunohistochemistry and in situ hybridization based assays.

Objective: To investigate the effects of tensioning the lumbar fasciae (transversus abdominis [TrA]) aponeurosis) on segment stiffness during flexion and extension.
Summary Of Background Data: Animal and human studies suggest that TrA may influence intersegmental movement via tension in the middle and posterior layers of lumbar fasciae (MLF, PLF).
As part of the effort to sequence the genome of Rattus norvegicus, we constructed a physical map comprised of fingerprinted bacterial artificial chromosome (BAC) clones from the CHORI-230 BAC library. These BAC clones provide approximately 13-fold redundant coverage of the genome and have been assembled into 376 fingerprint contigs. A yeast artificial chromosome (YAC) map was also constructed and aligned with the BAC map via fingerprinted BAC and P1 artificial chromosome clones (PACs) sharing interspersed repetitive sequence markers with the YAC-based physical map.
