For braised pork belly, a popular traditional Chinese dish, we lack a scientific knowledge to reduce the formation of harmful heterocyclic amines (HAs) and advanced glycation end products (AGEs) while maintaining sensory quality. This study aimed to clarify the factors affecting the formation of free and protein-bound HAs and AGEs during the braised pork belly cooking process using UPLC-MS/MS analysis. The results indicated that soy sauce significantly promoted the formation of HAs, with organic soy sauce exhibiting the strongest promoting effect, increasing HAs by 270.

It is postulated that coherent temporal modulation of a source's features binds them and enhances their perception. This study seeks evidence for rapid binding among coherently responsive single-neurons in ferret auditory cortex.

However, its potential benefits in treating aGVHD remain largely unknown. This study explored the effects of HBOT on aGVHD and its underlying mechanisms.

The present study aims to elucidate the characteristics of fatty acid metabolism (FAM) in CLL, construct a related prognostic score, and investigate the regulatory role and mechanisms of FAM in CLL development.
Methods: Bulk RNA sequencing data from CLL patients and healthy controls were analyzed to identify differentially expressed fatty acid metabolic genes.
Background: Diabetes and osteoporosis are frequent long-term conditions. There is little information on the relationship between diabetes and the risk of refracture in people who have osteoporotic fractures (OPFs), even though both conditions have been individually associated with increased fracture risk.
Methods: We conducted a retrospective cohort study using the Osteoporotic Fracture Registry System of the Affiliated Kunshan Hospital of Jiangsu University.
