Parkinson's disease (PD) is a complex progressive neurodegenerative disorder and the pathogenesis and treatment methods are unknown. This aim is to investigate the effects of long non coding RNA NEAT1 (LncRNA NEAT1) on 1-methyl-4-phenyl-1,2,3,6-tetrahydropyridine (MPTP)-induced Parkinson's disease (PD). Immunoprecipitation and western blot were used to search for the effects of LncRNA NEAT1 on PD.

KRAS is one of the most mutated genes, driving alternations in metabolic pathways that include enhanced nutrient uptaking, increased glycolysis, elevated glutaminolysis, and heightened synthesis of fatty acids and nucleotides. However, the beyond mechanisms of KRAS-modulated cancer metabolisms remain incompletely understood. In this review, we aim to summarize current knowledge on KRAS-related metabolic alterations in cancer cells and explore the prevalence and significance of KRAS mutation in shaping the tumor microenvironment and influencing epigenetic modification via various molecular activities.

Cardiac fibrosis characterized by aberrant activation of cardiac fibroblasts impairs cardiac contractile and diastolic functions, inducing the progression of the disease towards its terminal phase, resulting in the onset of heart failure. Therefore, the inhibition of cardiac fibrosis has become a promising treatment for cardiac diseases. The ovarian follicle-stimulating hormone folliculin (FLCN) plays a significant role in various biological processes, such as lysosome function, mitochondrial synthesis, angiogenesis, ciliogenesis and autophagy.

The emission of NH has been reported to pose a serious threat to both human health and the environment. To efficiently eliminate NH, catalysts for the selective catalytic oxidation of NH (NH-SCO) have been intensively studied. FeO-based catalysts were found to exhibit superior NH oxidation activity; however, the low N selectivity made it less attractive in practical applications.
