[Transarterial embolization of the kidney: review of the literature].

The percutaneous transarterial total embolization of the kidney is a minimal invasive therapeutic procedure for radiological nephrectomy. The reported indications, technique, results and complications of percutaneous transarterial total renal embolization are reviewed.
