This study aimed to investigate the impact of including arousals scored in wake epochs on the AI.
Methods: We compared AIs including (AI) vs excluding (AI) awake-epoch arousals from 100 consecutive polysomnograms conducted for investigation of possible obstructive sleep apnea.
